Gift Aid on Larger Donations

We are deeply grateful for your generosity in supporting th parish. If you are considering making a donation of £1000 or more and wish to Gift Aid your contribution, we kindly ask that you contact the Parish Office before making the donation.
This is simply to ensure that all necessary Gift Aid and administrative requirements are completed correctly in line with HMRC guidance.

What is Gift Aid?
Gift Aid is a UK Government scheme which allows the parish to reclaim tax on your donation at no extra cost to you.
If you are a UK taxpayer, for every £1 you donate, we can claim an additional 25p from HMRC. 
For example, a £100 donation beomes £125 to the parish.
To qualify, you must:
      .  Be a UK taxpayer
     . Have paid at least as much income tax or capital gains tax in the tax year as we will reclaim on your donations
     . Complete a Gift Aid declaration
